it can be avoided by getting industrial vacuums to drain the lake into very large blenders and then dropping JDAMs into the newly-dessicated lakebed.

Well when I first saw the trailer, I thought it was a remake of Jaws.

So a hole opens up in the middle of the earth and really horribly drawn piranhas (the red eyes look like they were just stolen from the terminator robots) that can fly come out of the middle of the earth. Some people have said it wasn't meant to be taken seriously and that's why it looks so bad; because it's supposed to. Yet the music and the way the trailer is shot definitely was meant to try and be scary. This just looks like a shitty movie.
