Pivotal Plot Points/Decisions for ME3

So I was thinking and then talking with my younger brother about which of your/Sheard decisions/actions do you think will play a role in your ME3 save, assuming you will carry over your Sheppard from the previous game.

Some ideas:

The Quarians/Geth conflict. (And your solution/decision on Legion's loyalty)

If you saved the Rachni Queen, potential ally?

Your love interests, Ashley/Kaiden Alliance military connection, or Liara who if you did the Shadow Broker mission is now the Shadow Broker.

The Council, will they be slow to move (as usual), well if you kept them alive anyway.

All you alien teammates, will they help you muster up the help of their races, to save humanity, because of the very small trailer it seems the Reapers go for humans first.

There were possibly dozens of decisions you/Shepard made in the previous two games, that will effect you ME3 gameplay/plot.

I am curious (oh so curious to know) what will bear fruit or blow up in my face.

They better have more of an effect in ME3 then your ME1 decisions did for ME2. And that means your decisions actually doing something more then adding some special emails/news announcements.

That, and maybe fix Conrad Verner. In ME2 he always talked about how you put a gun in his face. Even if you didn't. Apparently there was a bug in the transfers or something.

I'd just like Verner to actually, well work.

Conrad, was he the drug addict? LOL I remember the asking for autograph in ME1.
The adoring fan.

Yeah I know, no difference. :p

As far as main plot-related points, I think they are all quite obvious. Relations with the Geth, Quarians, and Rachni are big ones. Turians, Salarians, and Asari will all be given (as they are all council) or have something else thrown in there to get their 'loyalty'. The Krogan will be a big one, and I think having Wrex alive will help immensely there. Other races might be left out from a militarily helpful standpoint.

Yes but if you were mostly Renegade Shepard and told most of your potential allies to blow it out their asses, they may not be so swift to come to humanity aid LOL

I remember a quote from someone at Bioware saying that the choices didn't have much effect in ME2 because they still had to plan for ME3, and since it was the last game, they planned on factoring in EVERYTHING from the previous two games.

Thats what I am looking for, I want my previous actions and decisions to felt through the final chapter even if they do bite me in the ass.

I was thinking about stuff like that.

It says "If Shepard doesn't get help soon". That pretty much means, you have to go and convince the council or anyone else willing to help to fight the reapers.

Heres my prepared speech:

"Everyone, if you can hear me, I am talking to you. Every species, gender, occupation. We are all at risk, if you can use a gun, pilot a ship, or even heal sick at all. You can help a cause that will also affect your life. As we speak, the Reapers are attacking Earth. These ships will head for the next world and the world after that, wiping us all out. You cannot do it alone. If we all put aside our differences, our rough histories, we can all live and coexist after we defeat these monsters."

We all kinda know what plot points will be important, but the thing that I want to see is if you were a renegade and a huge dick to everyone to boot, you actually get denied help, or to be fair to renegades some people don't like the optimistic nature of the Paragons and refuse to help you because you'll get them all killed trying to save a puppy or something.

We've already sort of seen this in the Rachni, they can wind up dead, unless Bioware pulls a cop-out, you kill the queen you ain't getting any xenomorph-spiders to help you out.

If the earth and the galaxy's at stake, then lets really put it at stake. Let's see an ending where the Reapers utterly dominate everyone and everything.

Sure it's not very happy, but it would definitely be interesting to see everything crash and burn all because of choices you've made.
