Pizza Vending Machine

So reading that title your mind is probably going something along the line of, "wtf?" (unless you happen to live in one of the European places this machine exists). My mind was doing much the same thing, when I saw what the company is calling "Let's Pizza." So Escapist, what do you think? Would you eat? I know I for one would get it at least once cause to me this machine is both ingenious and hilarious.

That...that's not a new idea, my high school had a pizza vending machine (I live in California). The pizza that came out of it wasn't very good though.

I remember quite a few times when I was in college when this would have represented the difference between self respect and public humiliation (don't ask).

I don't know if I trust the "3 Minute" factor, though. That's Microwave speed and...well..you can't properly cook a pizza in 3 minutes and expect it to taste right...[footnote]Yes, they pointed out that it was in an oven...but 3 minutes...?[/footnote]

I take it maintenance on it must be awkward (the flour, water and dought part).
Honestly the pizza itself doesn't look appealing so no thank you, well at most I would try it if it taste any good.

I'm fairly adventurous so long as I'm not eating some kind of animal whole, or major internal organs in terms of eating. I'd try it just to try it.

Kinda bummed it's only thin crust though.

I'm not sure how I'd trust vending machine pizza. I was also pretty disappointed that it didn't fire the pizzas out like frisbees.

I'd try one, just to say I'd tried it. It would make for decent converation fodder. It's probably not very good but at least it's quick. Wonder how much it costs.

I'd try it once, but my guess is the pizza that comes out would be pretty atrocious. It probably wouldn't be long before the Government forces the makers to rebrand the machines as dispensing 'pizza-style snacks with tomato flavoured topping and "cheese"'.

I think its just under 6 bucks ($5.95 or 5.90 if I remember correctly from the article).

I'm just gonna go off myself now knowing I'll never be as awesome as the guy who made this a thing.
Anyway, on a more serious note I'd give it a shot as I'd trust a machine than most pizza joints around my place.

I knew about the Japan porn vending machines before. Personally I'd probably rather get one from a machine than a real person (assuming the internet disappears).

The cool thing about this is that its a pizza vending machine, but the stupid thing about it is that its a pizza vending machine...

I mean come on, how ridiculously stupid is this? It's freaking huge and it makes you wait 3 minutes for a pizza, which is going to be undercooked and probably not even that delicious(by the look of the pizza on the video).

What also doesnt sell the idea for me, is that it's a pizza made by a machine that is not being operated by a human...food just loses it's appeal when you start to realize that hot dish you just ordered was made by a big machine who only made it for you because of a trading arrangment in the form of "Put money in and get food".

I'd rather just take the time to make a regulation pizza. Or just order out. Vending machines have always been an if I have to thing.

I must confess that'd I'd probably try it. Might even be better than my local pizza hut. I couldn't resist the convenience if there was one in my work place, can't be much worse than your standard frozen pizza.

Even could give an option for traditional cooking so you don't have to worry about if the thing really bakes all the way through at 700 for 2 1/2 minutes D:
