Something I find annoying is when ideas are copied completely without giving any credit to the original. Usually I don't really worry about it too much, but I found an example recently and although it's trivial it kinda pissed me off.
This is a scene from Family Guy: It's a trap! released in 2010
http://www.screenjunkies.com/Video/the-griffins-fly-casual-in-its-a-trap-clip/
This is a strip of Irrecular Webcomic! released in 2005
http://www.irregularwebcomic.net/868.html
Notice the text between "now don't get jittery" and "fly casual"? Sound familiar? Have you noticed this kind of thing before? And if so, how did you respond? I think this annoyed me more because Family Guy can get away with it because it has a large fanbase and Irregular Webcomic!'s fanbase is comparatively quite small.

Might be because all the jokes at Family Guy ARE taken from webcomics and memes.

this, I take it as rule of thumb that any joke family guy pulls is likely taken from something else.

Yep. Family Guy is the tv show equivalent of a Seltzer And Friedberg movie, only Family Guy manages to be funny from time to time.

Well, Family Guy have been accused of plagiarising jokes from various other shows loads of times, but in this case the quotes "now don't get jittery" and "fly casual" are from Star Wars, Episode 6, the film that each of your sources are parodying.

Massive Nerd Fail. It is hard to parody something without occasionally referring to the original text being parodied.

No.
Sorry, this case you fail.
You know why the lines are in both that strip and the Family Guy-cartoon?
Because they're lifted right from the actual movie being parodied. Quick search could tell you that. Or just watch more movies. Or specifically: go watch Return of the Jedi.
