Platinum Games' next gimmick?

For those who don't follow, you would know that most of the games Hideki Kamiya and Platinum games developed has a central gimmick to their combat. Viewtiful Joe had the VFX, Vanquish had AR mode, Ökami had the Celestial brush, MadWorld had environmental based combat, Bayonetta (if you count it) had Witch Time, Metal Gear Rising has Blade mode, and The Wonderful 101 has Unite morphs. What gimmick do you think Platinum games will come up with next? I personaly would like to see them inplement music elements to combat. Manipulating the music changes the combat, who wouldn't want to see that?

Considering how well they worked the music into Revengeance (having the boss fight lyrics kick in at all the right times, plus the music gets heavier when Raiden does something awesome) I could see that working.

I think maybe having some amount characters that you can swap between on the fly to keep the flow of your combat up would be neat.

Maybe another game with shooter elements, Vanquish was really fun but I think they could easy mix standard platinum with the shooting.

I'd like to see them work with music more, especially since Bayonetta 2 is coming up. I think anybody who's played Bayonetta all the way through will have heard "Fly Me To The Moon" about 70 times.

i really don't think "gimmick" the right word here, those are actual working mechanics that make the game more interesting and not shouting-at-the-tv-waggle-controller-motion-bollocks.
music elements into combat sounds really cool but would probably mean i wouldn't pick up the game because i already have a hard time with platinums games(i just suck at spectacle fighters and vanquish had controller aiming) so adding music elements would likely render the game unplayable for me.

i would really like the "gimmick" on their next to be a pc release alongside the console release, not a year delayed
