Not sure how many people know of this game but TotalBiscuit recently did this on his "WTF is..." series. I instantly went the website and bought it. It's beautiful, simple and addictive. Plus it's a racing game that actually works well with WASD keys.

The best thing about it? You can pay what you want for it. I personally paid 5 euros and kind of wish I gave a little more.

For those that have played it, what did you think and how much did you pay?

EDIT: Forgot to mention 2 things.

1) There's a free version you can play, then decide what you want to pay for it, if you want to at all. It's the full game except 1 track.

You mean that there's price brackets?

There's obviously the free version then:

Minimum Donation - £1.74
Donation - £4.34
Donation - £8.69
Donation - £17.38

Granted it's not a pay-exactly-what-you-want model, but it's pretty damn flexible.

As for the motion sickness, that I can understand. Though it didn't affect me at all.

I don't see the appeal.

Luckily, you don't have to try and look for the appeal, you can just try it out .

It doesn't give me motion sickness or effect my vertigo but my gawd does it fuck with my eyes.

You know like those still images that look like there moving? It's like that, my eyes can't really focus on it, so there is no chance of me playing it.

That was just from TB's play time of it, which he did on the slowest speed, anything higher would make my eyes explode.

Well, I searched the forum wanting to post about this, and I've gotta say I've loved it, it's a beautiful looking game, strangely original feeling for a 'racing game', and it just damn works!

Honestly, give it a go, and if you don't like it, it didn't cost you anything.

The mechanic of swivelling around the outside of a cylindrical track instead of dodging left n right on a flat one is interesting, and the style is great, the music is ..different, but at the same time somehow fits wonderfully, and it just deserves to be played, and hopefully bought!

Takes me back to old SEGA arcade games like Space Harrier and Afterburner 360, and later on, STUN Runner by Atari, yet also feels modern in its own way.
