Well, it was under the Battlefield franchise...chances are they knew their game would become little more than a tool for EA to squeeze some extra cash outta the player base.

And honestly, I wasn't terribly vested in this game from the start...samey derivative multiplayer shooter gameplay with a ripped-off TF2 visual aesthetic.

Not surprised EA would fuck this up eventually.
The lust for a quick buck has always been their downfall.

Wow, EA is being more upfront with the evil? This takes me back to the old days, Tony Hawk was still cool, EA was evil, but I'd still buy their games, and I was still a Nintendo fanboy, man, those were the days.....
