Playing a game while sleepy.

Has anyone continued to play a game half asleep or all the way to a point where they wake up an hour later with their character dead or just standing there?

Lol its always fun playing while half asleep because you think weird things while your playing... its hard to explain.

I've fallen asleep while playing KOTOR. The Bendak Starkiller fight lasted 9 hours.

well i used to be really big into World Of Warcraft and i stayed up all night.
i remember thinking i was killing something when i woke up running into a wall for the past 3 hours.Fun stuff.

playing mgs 3 not feeling tired but then just waking up the next morning with snake standing on the cliff over the enemy base of course I just continued as usual

No, usually I'm too into them to fall asleep. I have felt drowsy during some cutscenes, though.

I was playing Sonic Unleashed for some achievements. I was half asleep during a boss battle and I was even wondering how I could actually be winning while I'm falling off to sleep.

I fell asleep during Mass Effect, accidentally rolled onto the control stick and drove the Mako off a snowy cliff.

I stayed up all night playing RE5 with my friend for many hours (We were trying to get through the campaign on co-op in one go) and it got to the point where I was half asleep while somehow still playing perfectly, like I was watching myself play. I think I acheived gaming nirvana at that point.

I fell asleep while playing Prototype on easy mode with armor on vs about 20 marines.

5 hours later, I woke up and found I had lost about 1/1000th of my health.

on gmod we were making zombie shelters and i sat down in my office chair and dozed off...all my mates got killed and i survived.

Never fallen asleep while playing a game. Once though I was extremely tired playing Prototype and I felt really weird like I was having a drug trip. Like I felt like nothing was really happening like I was watching myself play or that Alex was jumping on buildings in real life. It was weird.

I played Guitar Hero 2 while sleepy and passed Free Bird for the first time (Expert). I was running on maybe 2 hours sleep.

I'm usually an insomniac, so I don't fall asleep easily, but, when I first got my PS2 for Christmas as a kid, I stayed up enjoying my pretty new graphics in slack-jawed wonder for about a week until I fell asleep playing Kessen (the game I got with it).

Oftentimes when I go to a friend's house we play until four A.M. or so. I find that tiredness makes the game much more enjoyable, but also makes it harder, taking away enjoyment. I think there's a sweet-spot of tiredness where you reach a moment of ecstasy and "Superman 64" will magically transform into "Psychonauts."

Of course, if you miss the sweet-spot then you end up compulsively making highly inappropriate sexual innuendo about the girl from Left 4 Dead and your friends never invite you over again. Yeah...

I stayed up all night playing RE5 with my friend for many hours (We were trying to get through the campaign on co-op in one go) and it got to the point where I was half asleep while somehow still playing perfectly, like I was watching myself play. I think I acheived gaming nirvana at that point.

Tried to do this, except we had been working all day and got stupidly close to the end and just couldn't do smeg all without dying, about 15 mins the next day it was finished.

We got to the Uroboros boss, the one that you have to kill with that orbital laser thingy, but I had to leave right after that. We stayed up for about 24+ hours playing N64 and Gamecube games and RE5 was just toward the end of the night (Or morning, whatever it was dark out) my poor friend had to do the insanely hard part right before Wesker by himself on the second highest difficulty (The one below Professional, I can't remember the name) he was pissed.

Playing Monsters vs aliens on the PS2, i was in a state of nearly in full sleep, and it seemed asif i wasnt playing, yet i was still moving around killing and stuff... felt like i was on drugs or something, felt really weird

I drowned my guy in Oblivion by falling asleep on the keyboard. Almost lost a battle on Dynasty tactics 2 other day because I was so tired.
