Playing Hack-and-Slash... with DJ Hero!?

Since I decided to act stupid one day, I decided to play Onimusha with a DJ Hero controller...Surprisingly, it worked rather well. I actually got the Bishamon Sword and defeated Fortinbras...With DJ Hero. Have you ever played a game with a peripheral not designed for it and succeeded?

We once tried halo 2 with a guitar hero 2 controller.

It doesnt work, you just spin round and round for some reason. Still, i managed 1 kill which brought the score to 25-1

So id class that as a win for me, and an epic fail for my mate.

yea, ive tried games with GH controllers, but its the only odd controller i had, i didnt really want dj hero, but i wanted the controller to play with in games, good to know it actually works

A friend of mine tried playing some FPS with a guitar hero controller as well. It spins, yes, until you press the whammy bar. You still can't move forward or backward but the world does stop spinning when you whammy. Kinda cool.

I've seen Devil May Cry 3 done with a guitar hero controller. Was on Youtube though so I'll save applaud for that seen with my own peepers.

It's feels cool playing it, but it's not cool watching. I'm crouched over a little record, rubbing it back forth to kill demons. But fighting the armies of darkness with a record never gets old.
