Playing Hard to get

I was able to get Resistance 2 the very day it came out and my first thought (other than go online and rape people) was to get as many trophies as I could on the first go throu. Luckly enough I was able to get 99% of the story mode trophies and then moved on to the online mode set of em and got another 99% of em (I have like 4 of the stupid things left to get). But I have to say some of the thophies were easy to get,some were by luck, and some were a pain and countless restarts to get them.

So what were your hardist thpohies/achievements that you were determined to get or just plainly gave up on.

My hardest trophy had to be in Warhawk where you have to destroy an airbourne plane with a tank shell, i got it in the end by firing a tank shell randomly at the enemy's base and it hit a plane just about to take off.
Another bollocks hard one was in Warhawk wherein you had to destroy an airbourne plane(again) with a sniper rifle and it takes three hits and these planes are crazy fast so you have to wait until a plane is hovering and fire three times and it is hard because the sniper is wuite slow firing.

Come to think of it most of Warhawk's trophys are hard to get.

This may not count because it's from the Gamecube, but all 290 trophies on SSBM.

I don't own it, but does anybody remember the crazyness surrounding the DoAX2 achievements? Apparantly nobody has even gotten a legitamate 1000 points yet.

I'v played it and in the end the game got thrown out it realy annoyed me i never even got 600 points. (shame)

Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead. Around 59k zombies to kill.
Another one was Viva Pinata. The 50 hours played achievement will make me commit suicide.

50 hours...that's....tedious. 59k zombies is doable, considering so many are hauled at you at once. Gears? Not so much the same issue - horde mode helps, though, but not enough. It's still a steep hill to climb

I tried to get the Test of Faith achievement in Mirror's Edge my first go through (don't shoot anybody), but my blood pressure couldn't handle it. I had to give up in chapter 7 (made it pretty far though).

I was/am determined to get all the achievments in Geometry Wars 2, those are all really hard and make you play your old arcade style game a litte different.
