Go into your stats screen, highlight your health bar, black white black black black, hold A to restore your health.

Prepare for long ass loading times, always make your own class, if you're under level 5 and you run into anything bigger than a rat in the wilderness run to the nearest town and let the guards take care of it, if an NPC isnt looking straight at you steal everything.

Play as Dunmer. IT just makes more sense that way. And they have the coolest head selection.

Put away any and all small, fragile things and wear thick, soft gloves before beginning the House Telvanni Hortator quests. It won't be long before all the running back and forth will make you want to break something.

Umm... I do? I've played vanilla Morrowind for almost a decade now and there isn't a thing wrong with it. Do get it for PC though if you have the option if only for the massive decrease in load times. Xbox morrowind's loading takes FOREVER!

OT: Before you leave Seyda Neen (the first town), head northwest along the coast. Just follow the water line until you reach a dungeon entrance. You won't have any weapons that can kill the ghost inside just yet but the lewt is worth the risk. Just run straight to the end of the dungeon, open the trapped urn (you'll take damage) and receive one of the best rings in the game at level 1 - the Mentor's ring. +10 Intelligence and +10 willpower constant effect.

Also, if you're a max stats kind of RPG player like I am, try to get as much gold as you can as early as you can because training be invaluable to getting those 5x multipliers at level up. The problem is it gets fucking expensive. Sell every non-essential item you can find and sell valuable stuff to the creeper in Caldera as often as you can.

More important than everything I just said is this: use the elderscrolls wiki. It is a motherfucking compendium on all things TES.

If you press B while holding A at the end the cheat will keep working out of the menu :p

1. Make sure you have at least one weapon type as a major skill. Few things are more frustrating in the game than missing 9 out of every 10 swings.

2. Keep an eye on your Fatigue. It affects all sorts of things, from how effectively you fight to how successful you are at casting spells. Above all, NEVER enter combat with a drained Fatigue bar, as enemies will knock you off your feet and wail on you mercilessly.

3. If you're uncertain of your combat skills, stick around the Bitter Coast region for a bit. There's plenty of easy mudcrabs, kwama cuttle, rats and slaughterfish to kill.

4. Make sure you have at least one silver/enchanted weapon with you (preferably a weapon type you're skilled in) if you plan on raiding tombs or Daedric ruins.

5. Keep your weapons and armor well-maintained. If you made Armorer a major or minor skill, I recommend you repair your own gear. Otherwise it's more cost-effective to have a blacksmith do it for you.

6. Keep an eye open for airborne attacks, particularly when you head inland. Cliff Racers are freaking everywhere (on the plus side, you can sell their plumes for a pretty penny).

7. It's not a bad idea to invest in the Alchemy skill. It allows you to make useful potions out of all sorts of common ingredients (you can also sell your concoctions for extra money).

8. Don't go too crazy harvesting any plants you come across. It takes a full month (game time) for them to grow back.

Buy it for the PC instead. Considering the sheer quality and variety of mods that are out for Morrowind now, you're actively detracting from your game experience by playing it on a console.

Erm... get it for PC? Honestly, the major thing Morrowind has got going for it is mods and community support. I don't think anyone would recommend playing Morrowind vanilla, and that's kind of what you're stuck with on the Xbox version. You can get the PC version for peanuts, it'll run on practically any rig no matter how old, and you can upgrade it in pretty much any way imaginable. I think it's a fair claim that Morrowind has got one of the all-time largest, most dedicated mod communities of any game ever. If you can think of anything, someone's already modded it into the game. Including every kind of graphical upgrade you can think of.

Look at it. This game's nearly ten years old, and it looks better than most fantasy RPGs that are coming out today!
Don't suppose you have any idea where you can download that mod anymore do you? I really want to get it, but it's harder to find than the Loch Ness Monster.
