I've recently been bitten by the 'retro' bug and have gone in a random and frantic search for old school computer games from my younger gaming days. The problem is, most of these games have "Windows 3.X, Windows 95, Windows 98" as their recommended OS. My XP home edition tends to have problems playing them. Any tips for teaching my new dog some old tricks?

That's a really simple way to make Windows 98 games work on your machine. Don't know if it works for the other ones, but all you have to do is search google for "Windows X.X emulator."

Good gaming to you.

Try searching independent sites for XP fixes for the game, worked for me and Warzone 2100, Diablo & Transport Tycoon Deluxe

you could sell all your non-vital organs and buy the correct computer then give me your good computer when you die because you gave an neccesary one by mistake.

There is a 'compatibility' ability on XP when it comes to the short cut or exe file properties, have you tried that?
