Front Mission 3, Omega Boost, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, MGS and many others.

Front Mission 3 and 4 (I don't really have a preference although I loved the turn based mech combat and freedom of builds you had - It was neat in 3 how you could hijack enemy vehicles too)

It's nice to see another Front Mission fan. I just finished it again recently.

Omega Boost (a highly underappreciated classic)

I mostly played PS1 RPGs, and on an emulator - I owned a few games but never an actual console.

My favourites though are Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Xenogears.

No one seems to be mentioning the first Spyro. Was it that bad? I didn't think so, especially when you had (IMO, the best incarnation of) a Stewart Copeland soundtrack!

The AI was crap and the game had some obvious problems but it was still fun to play with friends.

Plus it's actually the only party game I've ever played anyway.
