Playstation 2 Online

I have owned various ps2 consoles over the years and I bought many games which had the 'net play' symbol on them. However, I never hooked up my ps2 to the internet so I never experienced this side of the ps2.

Did any of you have ps2 online? If so, how was it and how does it compare to today's XBL and PSN? Also, what was the community like?

Never played it. Hell, never knew it had online until awhile after I got rid of it (don't worry, I bought a new one).

now it is almost dead empty, and it mostly depends on the game you are playing. socom is apparently a lot of fun to play, and I had a few good experiences with rachet and clank up your arsenal
