Playstation 3 Games.

Just got one for christmas and I was wondering what games I should buy, exclusives only as I get all multi-plats on xbox. I have heard good things about Demon's Souls' is it really any good ? Also are there any older games you think I can pick up cheap that are good ?

Demon's Souls is great... but it will kick your ass.

Also, I'm going to recommend a game many people probably don't really care about:

Afro Samurai.

Seriously, you play Samuel L Jackson, cutting people apart as a samurai.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet and Clank games, and Resistance: Fall of Man are old games that are on the greatest hits list for $30 each. Also, Pixel Junk Eden and Pixel Junk Shooters are great downloadable games for $10.

Anyway the best one I got this christma, along with my brand spanking new PS3 was borderlands, not an exclusive but still pretty kick ass.

IMO, some games that aren't exclusive to the PS3 have had the best experience on the PS3, like Arkham Asylum and Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Infamous is pretty fun and its a PS3 exclusive, as is Little Big Planet. Demon's Souls is.... ok.

Ok, turns out I'm british and my local game shop only got 1 copy of demon's souls' in and some sneaky gamer thought to undo my trip there, so I bought Uncharted 2 and L4D2 for my xbox.

Going into town again 2moz. Anyone from Britain know if Game or Gamestation have any good deals on ?

No. Demons Souls will own your whiney little ***** ass over and over and over until you beg it not to hurt you... then it says it wont. then you walk around a corner and get owned over and over!

AFRO SAMURAI IS AWESOME. End of.

Depending on your tolerance for pain and your devotion to games, Demon's Souls is a very satisfying play. It requires patience and using a lot of caution though, so it can get pretty frustrating.

Maybe Metal Gear Solid 4 if you've been exposed to the series and liked it at any point. (Admittedly, I never played any of the prior games and still enjoyed it but I'd read up on it, that might've made a difference.)

A personal recommendation would Valkyria Chronicles for a strategy/RPG. It's a bit texty though and the gameplay might seem odd at first.

For a list of games that I've played and enjoyed: Batman Arkham Asylum (the PS3 version has a bonus Joker segment), Assassin's Creed I & II, Borderlands, and Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2.

Demon's Souls has not been released in Britian yet, don't know how they had a copy at the store. You will probably need to import it, luckily you can play any game on any ps3 so a US or Japanese copy will work on your system. It's worth buying, if you are into action RPG's.
