Playstation Store

I live in the UK, and I have made an account on my PS3 that lets me access the US store. I was wondering, if I tried to use my credit card to buy something on the US store, would it work, or would it not recognise it because I am from the UK.

I have done the same thing.. but I've never bought anything from the US store.
My guess is that it wouldn't work.. but I'm sure you can buy a US Playstation top up card on the internet?

Your credit card will not work, from what I've heard.

You'll need to by a PSN points card from somewhere like eBay if you want to download paid items from the US PSN Store.

This. Alternatively you could get one of those Entropay cards, if I recall correctly, that will work too, can be a bit of a mess around signing up for one though.

You would need a US account to access items from that store, which also involves having a US address on your account.

At least, that's what happened to me when I tried, maybe I did something wrong. I hope I can get it to work though, just incase they ever release Chrono Cross on the PSN store. Even better if they release it on the UK store too, as it's never been released here before and I rather enjoyed it when I played it via means I shouldn't specify.

It's possible to purchase items from the US store but not with a UK credit card.

A while back there were some pre-paid cards that would work but apparently that's coming to an end.

Now the only option is to buy PSN cards from the states, there is a good site for it that i've used many times called Maximus Cards, they do the job fast code delivery by email etc.
