Please help! (DLC question)

I'm getting Dragon age Origins for Christmas and I need to know something.

I only have access to xbox live for the next few days and I wont get it back till around April so I need to know that if I download the 'Wardens Keep' DLC before I play the game, will it still work?

I lost XBL in september and the following games had none of the DLC work:

Saint's Row 2.
Oblivion.
Fallout 3.
Fable 2.
Saint's Row 1.

And that was all the DLC I had on my hard drive at the time, but I'd assume no for nearly any game, too.

And pretty much any Arcade game was downgraded to a Trial. Except for Monkey Island and TMNT 1989. Don't care about TMNT 1989, though.

Of course it will. It has too...right?

It will be on your system, but I have had problems with DLC not loading unless I'm connected to the internet on some games.
