This has been wracking my brain all week and I for the life of me can not remember the name of the series. It is about a country girl who joins a local military, and she just get the hell beet out of her again and again. I think her name is something like Kelsinglington? That's probably wrong. It does have elves and what not \ but they do not become important until the 2nd or third story. I know that it is no the Green Rider series. Please help me this has been driving me insane!
