Please help me run this game...

I am new to pc gaming and the Thief collection is the first non- steam game I have tried to use. If someone will take pity on me, here is what I know. This collection is supposed to run on XP and Vista, I am using the latter. My processor is definitely fast enough to run it, I had enough space for it, but every fucking time I try to play, it freezes within 2 fucking minutes! I've tried running both Thief and Thief 2, with about the same results. Please, anyone, help me find the problem.

Does your pc have the right requirements? Does it need the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Piss-ta?

Is your graphics-card up to date?

Do you by any chance have a screen saver set up? It could be win mistakes the games control takeover as inactivity and then messes it all up with the screen saver.

On the other hand it could be a Vista + Thief issue, are they 100% compatible? I know alot of games have issues with it.

Vista is a ***** to operate. It's notorious for simply not working with things it should.

vista is shit. try to install the newest graphiccard driver.

All pc gamers will now groan but how do I install a graphics card, I'm unsure exactly what they are.

General rule of thumb: If it's Vista you're fucked.
