Hey guys i need help with something. I got a ring scartch on my fallout new vegas disc when i accidently bumped my xbox. The game still kinda works. I can play it for a little bit but its laggy and it freezes afterabout 10 mintes of playing it. Also my xbox was laying horizontaly so i didnt knock it over ( I guessed some one would try to scold me on that). So if you guys know how to fix this it would be awesome if u could tell me how to.

Try installing it to the console hard drive and playing it from there. That's the usual advice for that sort of thing. If it doesn't work from that then you're a bit screwed.

Try bring it to a place that cleans CD's. I can't tell you where though, but they do have them. Or you can buy your own CD cleaning kit.
If anything, I hear toothpaste is good with cleaning scratches.
Also, I heard that New Vegas is very buggy (never tried the game so I wouldn't know). Maybe its the game and not the scratch?

Huh, didn't think about that. Maybe I could revive call of duty 4 then...

OT: If that doesn't work, borrow it from a friend and install it to the hardrive.

I know that years ago their was a product called Skip Dr., it did wonders for cd scratches, but I make NO promises about it working on video game discs... I are 2 dum to know if their is a difference (spelling error intended).
