Gee, your head would probably explode if you watched this then:
You know the old saying, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything?" Yeah...

I hardly ever have anything nice to say.. so my options are: be antisocial, be a talkative prick.. I think the clear choice is the 2nd, it's waaay more fun, but I think that vid was less ghay than what you said beforehand, not in a nasty "haha fagget" kind of way, in a "lol that was soooo manly :L" kind of way, pretty much poking harmless fun at you, don't take it to heart
Ouran High School Host Club, this one has a kinda childish looking start, when I first watched it I quit halfway through the first ep, but about 3/4 the way through the first ep it gets really good, the characters have really interesting pasts and personalities, it is now one of my favorite animes aside from death note and code geass.
(Death note and Code geass, if you have not seen them are kind of slice of life, but both the main character on them has a special power of sorts, one has a notebook that can kill people
he wants to make a new world with it.. he gets... slightly more corrupt as the anime goes on
and in code geass he has a power to manipulate people to do what he wants them to do
he also tries to make a new/better world with his power
some of the things he does with that power are insane, not to mention the plans he comes up with, oh.. and also it has some mecha battles, as it's a tiny bit into the future.
It has been said before, but School Days is a really good one, it has some really interesting twists, and the end... it will make your eyes will fall out.
(Code Geiss and Deathnote are "kind of slice of life"...? WTF kind of life do you lead?)
Simmons 2.0, have you seen Moyashimon? It's basically the university life of a kid who can see bacteria (so yeah, that's not normal) but is pretty lighthearted, as well as teaching you everything you could want to know about fermentation. It's dorktastic but really fun to watch.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (dry and cynic pov on society and daily small stuff) ROFLicious! EDIT fastpaced absurdities and think-thru humor
Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, Ichigo Mashimaro and Nichijou for the more general sweety SOL.
Higurashi no naku kore ni (+kai +rei) = best thriller / mistery SOLshow outthere

A very odd one trust me on this, i'm actually baffled and amazed that i'm not insane yet from some of the things I have seen/done... not fully insane anyway. And maybe not code geass, but death note is kind of normal, minus the whole "book that kills people" thing.. that said.. the book is all it's really about.. huh.. maybe I did not think my first comment through that much.
EDIT: While i'm here I want to say that the panty and stocking thing mentioned earlier... WOW that is the most fucked up anime I have seen lol, and the ending.. that was just.. wow, I hope there is a 2nd season on it's way.
RANMA 1/2! I personally like it a lot. Its an old style comedy and if you're going to watch it WATCH IT IN JAPANESE!!!!!
For anyone that doesn't know, its about a boy that turns into a girl when he gets splashed with cold water, turns back into a guy when he's doused in hot water. Sounds silly? Well, its actually really well done in my opinion. His parents set him up with a fiance and its cute how they act. For all the humor it has some nice little fight scenes because everyone and their grandma is a martial artist. (Exagerating slightly.)
I've been recommended this for years, and I didn't get into it, then I read the first volume of the manga and finally saw what people were talking about.
I'm near the beginning though, only episode 25 or something out of 161 or something episodes. Anyway, I don't know how much of it will be fillers later on, but for now, its really good because the characters are enjoyable, it can be downright silly, but there is such an amazing variety in what happens. I remember looking at a page, thinking, 'ok, what will happen next page? This shouldn't be too hard.' Then I burst out laughing because it was completely out of nowhere.
Is the anime as good as the manga? Well, I wouldn't know, because I've already seen the jokes in the manga, but I feel the animation and music is very good. Some people dislike old graphics and stuff like that... This is anime, it hasn't changed all that much. In some ways it has, but I would find it strange to dismiss this. The opening seems REALLY cheesy at first, but... wow... just wow it has gotten stuck in my head. If you allow yourself to like it, you will like it. Granted, acording to your list, I feel that you should enjoy it because its up your ally.
I personally really suggest watching it, and I have had so much fun sitting down with my brother and watching 10 episodes in a row.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I almost forgot about that traversity of an anime... though it did a have a good opening song which is on my PSP... >.> <.<
