I just got an iPad for my birthday, and I have a long trip ahead of me tomorrow. Also Got new shoes so I am low on money but I am high on love!

I really am low on money, though, so please recommend me so good and cheap games! :) Title and a short reason for why you think the game is good.

Thanks in advance!

I recommend Kingdom Rush. It's a very fun little tower defence game with a good to hard difficulty curve. You need to pay for extra choices of heroes, but I always used the archer and she does the job.

EDIT: I recommend shutting down the sounds though. You'll thank me later.

Neither of these are free, but they're both highly thought of, and long so if you enjoy them you'll get your money's worth.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. I've only played the original but reliable people have told me this version is as good as that with some updated extras and the iOS version is supposed to work well:

King of Dragon Pass is a very old game which I haven't played but I'm planning on buying it as soon as it's available on Android:

I recommend this free game called Hidden Objects: Mystery Crimes [https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hidden-objects-mystery-crimes/id674105088?mt=8]. It's free, but the dev, Lava Games, hits you often with the request to download their other games. The solution to this is simply to not install their other games.

Seriously, there are people complaining about the "hard sell" but it really isn't. There are 12 levels so far (I think) and only one of them, the bonus one that takes place in Rio, actually requires that you download, install, and play another title. I did it, and then deleted the other game. Like most free games there is a limited amount of "energy" you have to play, which works out to five attempts every five hours. And certain forensic tasks can take up to 9 hours (real time). But again, all you have to do is walk away, do something productive, or play a different game.

I highly recommend it. I paid 99 cents for Peggle, but the one game I always come back to is Mystery Crimes.

An oldy but a goody: Cut the Rope. I think there's 4 different versions now (the original, Experiments, Time Travel, and CtR2), and they all have both a free (with ads) and paid version (which I think are only $1 each). It's a fun series of physics puzzlers, and they basically did exactly what Yahtzee wanted them to do when he reviewed the game for ZP [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/2506-iPhone-Games], which is to say that they all have a ton of levels packs (especially the first one, since it's been out the longest).
