As I write this, there is a banner ad for Cataclysm at the top of the page, a box ad for Cataclysm on the side of the page, and I just finished watching the latest Zero Punctuation preceded by an ad for Cataclysm. About an hour ago, I saw the same exact ad on TV (you know, the one with Deathwing roaring his grating, overdramatic roar).
PLEASE STOP THIS. Everybody even remotely connected with online gaming knows about it! WoW has a new expansion! Thank you for telling me eighteen hundred times! At first it was okay, and even kind of interesting. I saw it and thought "Huh, it looks like Azeroth in in for some trouble. I know a few people who might wet themselves." But now I find myself becoming more and more irritated every time I see an ad for it. Does anyone else feel this way?
