The words would have been 'NO MORE SWAT OR ZOMBIES!!' from me but I stopped playing Reach days ago.
I enjoy swat but T. Slayer DMR got old the first night i played online. quite frankly, I dont enjoy the majority of rumble pit and choose to rather stay on Big Team or Arena.
Meh, the DMR isn't bad. I quite like it.
I also quite like Infection, but hate SWAT and Snipers. Good job I rarely see those anymore.

Its boring, was playing asylum and the entire match was people taking shots at each other from across the map, pretty much it plays just like swat except you have shields
I think that the problem of Reach are the Forge world maps. Hemorage is camping fest, asylum is climb on roof fest, pinacle is camp and spawn kill fest and cage is spawnkill fest (seriously I got an overkill because 4 dudes spawned infront of me in swat. not cool). The biggest problems with these maps show up in gametypes with instakilling weapons (snipers, swat).
On gametypes; DMRs is boring, but I can take a match or 2 of it. Pro is worse, since it removes everything fun from the game and makes it pro. And people want to think they are pro. So they vote pro.
On people in general: STOP QUITTING! One quitting person easily ruins a team game, making it instantly slower and unbalanced. I'd understand if one dude quit every now and then, but since I haven't seen a single match today without at least one dude quiting, I'm convinced that there is some serious problem with people.

Yes, because we PS3 owners don't have Demon's Souls, God of War, the upcoming SotC Ico bundle, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Killzone, Heavy Rain, inFamous, FFXIII Versus, MGS4, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, PS1 classics, and free online. We should be real envious of the 360.Jindrax said:

OP: This isn't going to stop people at all. Everyone seems to love Team SWAT way too much. Sure it makes the game the exact opposite of why Halo's shields exist online, but you can't do anything about it. My only suggestion is to pick large team slayer as atleast if it ends up Team Swat the game doesn't end so quick.

Sorry dude, it doesn't work like that. Play invasion, or Rumble Pit, or Big Team Battle. Besides, DMR isn't all that common in my experience. Its always Swat. When they gave that its own playlist, I jumped for joy, because I never have to play it again.

Can you explain to me whats fun about rocket race? I'm serious. I hate it more than other type but it keeps getting picked. Maybe I don't know how to do it right. I just don't get it. problem is that the DMR is possibly the best weapon in the game so everyone wants to use them.
Reach needs one or two complety new game type ideas to keep it from going stale in my opinion.
Personally I dont use the guns,instead I stealth myself in a place I know the other team will go through and pick them off with assassinations.
Though I do kinda enjoy infection.
however I don't understand why the zombies are slightly tougher in Safe havens (need two shotgun rounds to ill a zombie while in infection they need just one).

Indeed. I'm only good with a DMR if I also have a Jetpack, so those damn Pro gametypes screw with me. Pro is just SWAT with shields anyway. No one likes SWAT except people who secretly want to be playing MW2.

I agree with what was said earlier about the Forgeworld maps. I love Pinnacle, it's the best of the lot, but the rest really aren't that great. Especially The Cage. Who the fuck decides Team Snipers on THERE of all places is good?
IMO, I think the VAST majority of maps in Reach are pretty shit, especially compared to the Halo 3 maps which I loved to bits. I don't mind the occasional Team Snipers and Team DMRs, but for the most part I'll stick to games of 3 Plot, Territories, Stockpile and Slayer.
Oh, almost forgot: Bungie, Invasion would kick ass if there were more than two frikkin' maps for it.
Custom Games is where all the real fun is.

I know what you mean, I get really sick of starting out with DMRs. If you want to start out with an assault rifle, the only recommendation I can make to you is team objective, although in that playlist your teammates may as well be retarded.
