As we all know, Halo Reach Beta is officially live today. I haven't used my 360 for a while and have recently recovered my gamertag on my friends xbox because I was over their house. Well I knew I had to recover it again but when I went to the gamertag recovery screen my xbox froze and about 5 seconds later told me that "The game could not start. Please download the game again." I looked on the xbox support site but found nothing on it. I tested my connection and switched out the ethernet cable 5 times. I recently got this xbox from Microsoft because my old one got the E74 error and have not had any problems up until now. Does this mean that there is an update I need or something?
EDIT: I also tried creating a new XBL gamertag but I got the same message when I tried to create it.
EDIT: I figured it out. All I had to do was go into the memory settings and erase the memory cache. I was able to recover my gamertag and was able to spare my precious memory
