This is a suggestion topic as I was diagnosed with mild pneumonia and not able to do anything all week.

So what I need is a game suggestion that will pass the time for an entire week.
one problem, I'm great at games and beat them quickly. I've played most triple A titles so I really need help.

Before you recommend, I've played new vegas, dragon age, mass effect 1/2, I'm at a loss...

I dont have internet at my house, so no online games either.

Has to be on pc.

Knights of the Old Republic 1
Mount and Blade: Warband
Sins of a Solar Empire
StarCraft 2
Fallout 3
The Witcher

All I can think of right now.

EDIT: Have you considered watching movies? Last time I had pneumonia, aka about 2 weeks ago, I rented a fuckload of movies. They did a good job quelling my boredom.

Played kotor, m&b warband, sose, dawn of war, company of heroes, world in conflict.

The rest either require online to be fun (bad company, star craf 2) or are too short (metro) I've never heard of witcher.

Anything else?

LI'll think about movies but I can only see that lasting a day.

How about Civilization 5, Sword of the Stars is good too, or one of the Command and Conquer games?

Titan Quest. It's an old Diablo 2 clone, I believe. Only it's set in mythical Greece. I remember having a lot of fun with it.

It should be really cheap. I've seen it here in Australia for $20.

Sins of a Solar empire will eat up your time...freaking half-day long single games. Doesn't have a campaign or a story though.

Just download a trial for an MMO. Most are between 9-14 days which is more time then you'll need. It'll save you the cash on buying a new game, and hell, you may even like it enough to keep playing.

You could Patholgic and The Void
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathologic
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Void_(video_game)
Two fairly obscure games that I doubt you've already played

If RTS's are more your bag you could try Men of War and it's expasions
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men_of_War
Terrible voice acting but just about the best RTS I've ever played,
very unforgiving though.

There's also The Witcher if you havn't played it.

Just so you know there are almost no games that will last an entire week of nonstop play outside of mutiplayer or MMOs but these games are quite good some have multiple endings and you can get all of them for fairly cheap so the best thing to do would be pick a few cheap or older games that catch your interest and go nuts.

EDIT: oh how could I forget basically any Total War game Shogan and medieval don't work on vista though if thats what you have, not sure about 7
Rome and Medieval 2 are both great and do work on vista again not sure about 7
Empire is somwhat divisive
Napoleon is Generally considered what Empire could have been but too small in scale.

There you can lose weeks in those if they interest you.

EDIT 2: There's also the S.T.A.L.E.R series They can take a while.
