Some pointless threads are fun to vent or give a random unhelpful and insignificant opinion. But to actually put some thought and discussion forth, there has to be some sort of point...

I'd like to think the OP is trying to make a point about the pointlessness of pointless threads by making an utterly pointless one himself, presumably out of a sense of irony.
