Alright people let's get down to business. There might not be a lot of people here still playing Pokémon, but let's face it, most of us did at one point.

I caught myself watching an episode of the good-ol Pokémon series on the telly just now (the ones with Ash, Misty and Brock) and I have to admit, nostalgia kicked in.

UGH dont even mention that damn show to me.
Thats the reason I stopped playing in the first place.
But I would have to say my fave is
1. charizard (they grow up so fast)
2. none dont know where they are.
3. From when it came out to my freshmen year.
4. I played my sister-in-laws awhile back, might get into it again.
5. No way I could even estimate.

3.) It depresses me to think about it, so I don't.
4.) No. Ruby/Sapphire's purge of my favorite Pokemon was the last straw!
5.) Blue/Red/Yellow: Caught them all. Gold/Silver: Caught them all. Sapphire: I got 100 or so of them, and said "fuck it."

2. Let's see... Yellow, Red, ruby, sapphire, mystery dungeon red, fire red, leaf green, diamond, pearl, platinum, colosseum, and XD: gale of darkness. So 12, thought I had more...
3. Untold excessive amounts (probably 2000+)
4. not much unless I'm bored (which is all the time), but I am looking forward to the new ones
5. Not all in one game, but over all the games I have no idea

I loved pokemon before I loved games, I admit it and find no shame in it. The older stuff was better tho.

1) Dragonite

Hell yeah! While I wouldn't consider Dragonite my favorite Pokemon evar, no party is ever complete without him. He can learn the 4 most common HMs (Cut, Swim, Fly, Strength) so you don't need have more than one Pokemon dedicated to moving around the map. I can't remember if he can learn Waterfall for those few times you need it, but still those 4 moves take care of 95% of all mobility issues you experience in the game.

1) Ninetales. Ever since i was younger and played the games or Umbreon.
2) Rough estimation: Roughly 5 or 6 (Yellow, Blue, Sapphire, Ruby, Leaf Green and one more)

5) I caught nearly all of em' in Ruby and Sapphire.

1. Usually any Starter or legendary(with others from the wild; Nidoking,Lucario,Pigeot,Gyarados, All Eevee forms)
2. All of the mainsteram ones; like red, silver, emerald, platinum. Yay ROMS, but yellow, silver, red, emerald for realz.
3. 50-200 on each
4. Occasionally just to level boost.
5. On red, all that you don't need to trade to get(starters and fossils and trade evolves)
On silver, same as ^^^
On Platinum, I caught them all (Haxx lol)

EDIT : Just remembered I also have Pokémon XD for the GameCube, but I sort of got bored after repeatedly getting destroyed by that damn shadow Salamence, then I went back to the handhelds

Because it's game is one of the most wretched I have ever played, and it's show is the most wretched I have ever watched.

Favorite pokemon: Mewtwo (he murders the hell out of everything)
Games owned: Red, Gold and Silver (Gold broke), Sapphire, Pearl, Stadium, Stadium 2, Colliseum (stopped buying non-handhelds after that when I realized they sucked
Hours played: over 1000
Pokemon caught: over 400 (caught em all in sapphire and most in Red and Pearl)

Yeah, there used to be a pokemon platinum rom for the no$GBA emulator on mininova, but they got shut down so i don't know anymore. the emulatorplays .nds files so look fo those.

Sorry abuot that. These two pokemon are currently only obtainable through special events....
in Japan. They will be in America soon i think. You can also get them via action replay codes, mystery gifts given by friends, or trading.

I also think Germany had an event for this... so i believe out WW2 enemies are back!
