Poke Wars (and other confusing stuff)

As we all know, the annoying "poke" feature on Facebook is used gratuitously but what is its purpose exactly? I never understood expect for something to monotonously click until you discover the secret of life or something.

But anyways, what parts of pop culture continue to astound and/or confuse you?

I came here thinking it was going to be something to do with Pokemon. I'm a little disappointed.

As it is, I have no facebook, so I know nothing of this "Poke" feature. And most of pop culture confuses and astounds me.

The enourmous population of brain dead idiots on youtube. It really astounds me. There can't be that many of them in the world...

For me? I can't understand why people care about celebrities. I can understand having a favourite actor/actress/singer etc. but I don't know why anyone gives a damn what they spent their weekend doing or what shop they visited last Tuesday.
