Pokemon Black & White Adds Most Pointless Video Chat Ever

I think the grass one has a lot of personality. He just looks like he's saying, "Yeah, I know I'm badass."
...Or he's high. Either way, awesome.

The pig's grown on me though. I have to say I'm partial to the name Pignition, myself. Either that or Emboar.

The badass flaming boar is going to be the final stage, though. So I'm thinking like Piglit -> Pignite -> Emboar or something.

Charmander = Fire dragon = Awesome
Cyndaquil= Fire mouse = Still pretty awesome
Tourchic = Fire chick = Well it's final evolution is pretty cool
Chimchar = Fire monkey = Look out for flaming monkey s**t
Pokabu (US name I'm not sure of) = Fire pig = Does anyone else smell bacon.


I think I'll go with the grass one even though the pig seems the only one happy to be ther. I just feel really sorry for the water thing.

With video chat that works only in the same room I guess you get to se their faces at two different angles if you beat them or if they beat you.

Infernape and Blaziken were waaaaaay cooler than Typhlosion. Fire/Fighting is also a much better type than Fire/Flying.

OT: Well, I don't think I'll be getting Black or White anyways, and even if I did, I only own a DSLite, so the local video chat is a non-issue. I sure as hell aren't forking out for another DS just to use a stupid feature like that either. When the 3DS comes out, my decisions to buy one will be based on how many, if any, games appeal to me. Black and White, suffice to say, will not affect my decision not to buy one.

Yeah it seems pretty damn gimmicky....but moving on...I'm having a hard time picking between fire piggy and smugleaf...but...i usually go fire, so GO FIRE PIGGAY!

Dude, look at that grass starter. Just look at him. Look at how smug he looks. He's better than you, and he knows it. And that ugly looking water starter? He wrecks him. On top of that, he's got class, just check out the fancy looking 'collar' he has, like his whole body is just a nice dress shirt. The fire type may be strong against him, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still just a filthy pig, second class to our grass type smug snake. And besides, the fire pig will get destroyed by that ugly looking water type starter. Is that who you want? A starter who just loses to something that ugly? No, of course not. Choose class, choose... whatever his english name is (I'm going with Smugleaf, because just look at him).

I'm waiting for the feature that makes my pokemon (remember its short for pocket monsters) actually monsters rather than plush dolls

Seriously. Fuck Infernape's over-powered monkey butt. All my friends use him.

Infernape may be the best...but he's the lamest. He's a better version of last gen's fire starter, Torchic. Minus the flying attacks.

Also, I love Torterra for giving me Earthquake so insanely early in the game.

Definitely going with Pig-lit as my starter. I hope to Mew that they make his fully evolved form's name Pignition.

You might almost be right. I'm thinking Hognition is more possible, but whateva. I'm definitely going for the fire type too, because the full evo would be a badass. Your other two choices are what will probably be ANOTHER FUCKING GRASS/POISON TYPE and... the one that no one will pick.
