Okay, seriously, this officially looks awesome. It seems the Pokemon series is aging with its audience...fair enough, it was fun being a 10-year-old when I actually was 10, but I'm 17 now. >_>

I will still be getting this, though, definitely.

I won't be sold until I hear the music, which is always the major selling point for me for Pokemon games.

I wonder how much Nintendo had to pay for that 40/40 for a Pokemon game...In time, effort, or good old fashioned bribery.
Black and White now officially has my attention, but not my sale. Not yet anyway.

except that Famitsu magazine (like Nintendo Power, Xbox, and Playstation Magazine) is EXTREMELY biased and therefore can not be taken seriously (they give anything even REMOTELY mario-related perfect or near-perfect scores... EVERYTHING!)
then explain how bayonetta and MGS peace walker got perfect 40/40 scores, besides, nintendo has probably made at LEAST 500 mario/zelda/metroid etc. games in it's history and yet only 14 games have gotten perfect 40/40 scores from famitsu.

Cheap "fan" service and the fact they were made by Japanese "superstar" developers.

Yea, I went there.

yeah but if they were gonna do fanservice shouldn't they have given MGS4 the 10/10 instead of a handheld spinoff title that is mostly inferior to it's competition

I'm wary of this. Peace Walker, although good, is by no means perfect. Mind you, almost every magazine is going to hae a different opinion on things to me, so oh well.

B&W still look great though.

Strange that they seem to be on the right track with everything besides the 'mons themselves.

I refuse to think of Nerfnow as a credible source.

Which one of these do you think looks less appalling? My money's on the blonde, though admittedly it's a pretty close competition in this case. Goddamnit, Jynx.

Both of them look like ass.

All generations have their fair share of shitty pokemon.

For example, Execcute and Mr. Mime. Execcute because it and its evolution are stupid beyond reason (eggs evolving into psychic palm trees. Palm trees we know are psychic thanks to its grass-type design). And Mr. Mime because, well, just look at the bastard:

Oh come on now, that should be easy to figure. MGS4 lost points for insufficient interactivity.

How can you not like the otter? He matches the male character's jacket. That's the reason I'm going to pick him anyway.

I'm 30 and I'll be buying both black and white; by your comment I was too old to buy red the first time around. Although this time I'll be trading with my daughter.

So wait a minute. If Isshu is supposed to be the Pokemon version of America, than does that mean there is no free health care? Do I now have to pay for Pokemon centers to heal my Pokemon? Will Nurse Joy turn me away if I don't have enough Poke Money? What will the world come to?

And by the by, I LIKED Exeggutor. Without him, I never would've been able to fulfill my dream of having an all Grass-type team back in Generation 1.

No seriously, there were only six fully-evolved Grass types back then. Exeggutor, Tangela, Venusaur, Parasect, Victreebel, and Vileplume. And they were all KICK-ASS. Surprisingly, the easiest Gym Leader to beat was Blaine.

I love how the title of this article states that grabbing a perfect score is "Rare", when there have been more over the past 2 years from Famitsu the ever before.
