Pokemon creepy black?

So I just heard today of a hacked version of the original Pokemon Red commonly called Pokemon Black, also known as Pokemon Black Version, Pokemon Creepy Black, Pokemon Red: Black Version, and the list may go on. Regardless, after hearing the story I decided to research it. I came across this post from tinycartridge:

In summary, somebody hacked a version of the original Pokemon Red and created this very depressing and morbid version of the game, wherein not only can you actually kill pokemon, but also their trainers. It seems to be all about death, and things die, and people die and all that. Whether or not it actually exists is a mystery, but the thought of such a version is frightening to me.

Opinions? Ideas? Conclusions? Let's discuss?

Also, there's apparently a group out there trying to make it if it doesn't exist, or remake it if it does. I personally would like to see how far I could get in that game before I grew terribly depressed and needed to seek medical treatment.

OT: Nothing to be scared of people, just a gamehack. Enjoy it or don't. I've seen enough movies that have scared me witless to deal with some gruesome Pokemon killings. I'd rather not though.

Ok I like the concept of Pokemon but I hate that EVERY FUCKING MONSTER is supposed to be ADOWABLE what the hell are they thinking this is why I like Digimon much better sure they are sometimes adowable but when they evolve they become badass 90% of the time.

Well after reading that I looked at the comments and forgot about the article and the creepiness...yes I am easily amused.

I did a little research on it (still am right now) but apparently the first one (the one were talking about) was a solo hack of just one cartridge, now lost, but the designer still put the images and stuff on the internet but now a design team of rom hackers are going to make a completly new game from that story based on that old cartridge. The old game was basically as DJMagma said an "emo pokemon game" it centered basically about how you and the ghost pokemon go around and killing the four gym leaders and then everyone in the world, taking the bright happy no one dies plot and flipping it around with you in the end dieing by your own pokemons hands. so yeah... just thought id let anyone curious know.

More to the point, I've seen this before and it's not that bad. A bit creepy, but it's your basic creepypasta bit. It might be kind of cool to play it, but as of now it's definitely a fake.
