The first Nintendo Direct for 2020 is actually a 20 minute Pokemon Direct and starts in just over an hour.

So that's how they are gonna add in the rest of the pokemon to SwSh. Just DLC it. I suppose it's better than having to buy entire new version of the games or deal with the Pokemon Home bullshit.

Also people have been wanting a Mystery dungeon game and a remake on the switch seems like a decent thing, especially with such a quick release date.

I want them to build a Battle Frontier into the Pokemon Home concept, and then all their decisions are right by me.

I will wait until modders fix the game and include all the dlc for free.

"We can't possibly put every single Pok?mon into the game...until we've had chance to charge you money for them."

I expect a Jim Sterling rant before the end of the day.

Yeah, yeah, DLC. They should just do it like they did on the 3DS and just release Hyper Sword and Hyper Shield next year for $60 a pop. [/sarcasm]

Honestly though, this is probably a better/cheaper option than what they used to do, and the Pokedex expansion doesn't require a buy in.

Well, not quite; you won't need to spend money to be able to get the extra pokemon in your game, just to have access to the areas in which they appear in the wild.
