pokemon for a pet

So if you could have one pokemon for a pet what would it be? Personally, I'd kick it old school with Onix. Not only is he a badass form of transportation, but if you have a giant rock snake curled up in your front yard, you probably don't have to worry about robbers.

Seriously, it'd be like owning your own half-pint ninja. You could high-five him and everything! It would be the best times!

Barring that, I'd go with an Arcanine. If not for the home protection, then for the warm hugs.
