god, so many its just not fair for me to be in this thread.
Probably a Butterfree...Yeah I know it's a weak little thing, but been my favorite since Red. I would also want a Staryu, it would be difficult choosing.

Hmmm...I'm torn between two of my favourites; Eevee and Typhlosion.
Eevee because it's adorable and would be awesome to have around.
Typhlosion because it's a) really warm and b) could be used for transportation.

I know people might be opposed to this upcoming generation of Pokemon, but honestly I'm going to have to go with the new dragon-type in fifth gen, Kibago.
It's small, it's cute, and when it's fully evolved it's a tall armored dragon with a f***ing AXE FOR A FACE. I'm sorry, but to all the naysayers out there, I have only the comment that "This dragon has an axe for a face. Your argument is invalid"

Tropius. He can live in the yard, he feeds himself through the plant magic of Photosynthesis, he grows fresh delicious bananas on his body, and if need be he can assist me with moving heavy objects or flying me to someplace I need to be.
He may not be the best or most memorable Pokemon in the actual games, but for real life purposes Tropius would be one of the best Pokemon I could possibly imagine.

Definitely Raichu; he was always my favorite when I was a kid. He's small enough so he can hang out with me without attracting the attention of law enforcement, I can probably afford to feed him, and yeah, electricity.
