If it had to be a non-humanoid one, I'd take a Houndour. I like dogs, and one that's black and breathes fire sounds good to me.

F**K YEAH! I loved my one. I think he knew, Flamethrower, Solar beam, Zap cannon (or some other electric move) and Hydropump. He f**ked everyone over.

If not him I'd have an Ampharos, it's a portable light bulb and pretty bad ass with the right moves.
