I declare this to be my summer mission! Watch everything you have mentioned (and this is the hard part) whilst eating nought but what I can pack into one room and only pausing for three hours of sleep a day (not nessecarily in one go) and bathroom breaks of 10 minutes tops! WHO WILL SUPPORT MY CAUSE?

I will support you! But when you go insane and start killing people I had nothing to do with it.

Also, my big problem with pokemon is its fancy versions of our worlds animals, forced into containment and they are made to cockfight until one is too injured to move. How is this suitable for children?

Who would actually do that though?

My Dorm-mates. They started it last year, but far to late. They're going to do it again next year. Every day, without fail, they will watch at least 4 episodes of pokemon. On the weekends, they will watch at least 14 throught both days. Every now and then, they' will watch a movie, and it will nto count towards the normal episode viewing. They have all of them, and every movie and special torrented, so... yeah.

I refused to take part in it, and I will again refuse to take part in it when they start over.

I did , however, very rapidly (In about 10 days) watch all things Hokuto no Ken (151 episodes, and I always watched the intro twice, to make up for the fact that I couldn't stand the outro). I also watched the "meh" movie, the 3 part OVA special, the 3 new movies that alternate with OVA's (Movie, OVA, Movie, OVA, Movie), even though I haven't found the last one with subtitles yet, so I couldn't understand crap, and Souten no Ken. And I read the manga, as far as possible, for both.

Imagine having to watch every episode/movie/special of the pokemon animated series?

597 episodes x 22 minutes = 13 134 minutes
12 movies x 85 minutes = 1020 minutes
14 specials x 12 minutes = 168 minutes

14 322 minutes worth of pokemon anime / 60 = ~238.7 hours worth of pokemon anime

Now thats what I call a marathon. Brain would go numb really really fast.

O for sure, anyone who frequently plays an mmo puts in more than that in a month. But the fact is... It's the pokemon anime, would you really want to spend 10 days watching pokemon non-stop.

Just watch it up until Hoenn, then give up on the franchise. Except for when they remake Gold! Best Pokémon game ever!

You pretty much only have to watch about 3 episodes to get the formula down and then all the characters are interchangeable and the pokemon you meet in the episode changes. There you go, all the pokemon episodes taken down in one fucking hour.
I tried to watch the first season again 2 years ago, as a 17 year-old, and got about 23 in before my mind exploded because of how formulaic it was.
