They covered the Pokemon theme song on this album one instrumental and one with Sonata Artica singer Tony Kakko singing the extended lyrics, which is linked above. It's pretty surreal. BUT AWESOME! They also opened the album with the X-men theme!

Tony Kakko... singing the lyrics of the Pokemon theme song... over a Power Metal cover. I think I may have just found new fodder for the "most ridiculous/unexpected covers ever" mental file I keep so I can toss out things like Italian Melodic Death Metal bands covering Michael Jackson's "Beat It" when people bring up unexpected or unusual covers of songs.
