Catch a Mawile in Ruby and transfer it to your Platinum via that Park place. That should work, and if not... Tough luck.oppp7 said:Ok, new problem: I can't trade for a Mawile, because I haven't seen one. Is there a place in the game that I can fight one/get it in my pokedex? Or is there a part of the battle frontier that lets you keep pokedex information from the battles?
But I don't have Ruby...Mookie_Magnus said:Catch a Mawile in Ruby and transfer it to your Platinum via that Park place. That should work, and if not... Then you're probably screwed. The only other way I can think of for getting a Mawile besides trading and transfering... is cheating. There's plenty of cheatcode devices that you could use to catch a Mawile. My little brother has one, but I don't like them.oppp7 said:But I don't have Ruby...Mookie_Magnus said:Catch a Mawile in Ruby and transfer it to your Platinum via that Park place. I've played with a Mawile in the borrow tournament, if I save the battle as a video, will it give me the information on the pokemon I used/fought?
Ya, I was thinking of that, but if I'm going to buy a cheat device, I might as well just get Ruby. Do they still sell old Gameboy games at Gamestop?Mookie_Magnus said:Then you're probably screwed. Depends on the Gamestop, but most of them do. They'd be up by the front counter, under a glass display.oppp7 said:Ya, I was thinking of that, but if I'm going to buy a cheat device, I might as well just get Ruby.
