The best way to take on the league is to literally just use them to train. Invest any winnings into full restores and revives and save them up for when you get that good run and make it to the champion or the 4th member

Sorry for the double post...but are you away that an electric type attack kills HALF OF YOUR TEAM?! Starraptor, Peliper, and Tentacruel. You need more balance. Anyway, I beat them with an team that maxed at 55. Just use healing items. Don't hoard them. And catch a Gible, raise it to Garchomp, and tear the game up.jacx said:

Try raising a Spiritomb along with the Garchomp everyone's suggesting.
Spiritomb has no weakness, some Resistances, and even a few Immunities.
As for training, beat the crap out of the Elite Four until you beat them all.

Keep battling the Pokemon League.
1) Spend all your money on healing items.
2) Go fight Pokemon League.
3) Alternate Pokemon accordingly.
4) When you lose, go spend your money again.
5) Repeat process.
Eventually, your Pokemon will level and you will gather enough revives/restores to beat them.

platinum's league did seem comparitivly more difficult for me too... idon't know why...took me forever to beat it...good luck man, can't say i got any extra level 100s ATM only got a few. But good luck, just wait if you try for the battle tower place thingy...i still havent figured out how to get any farther into it =/
