i beat platinum in three days it is not worth the money
How the heck did you do that?! You practically have to power-level just to beat some of the gym leaders/Elite Four + Champion. I'm calling your bluff on this one. 8)

As for catching every single poke'mon, they kinda ruin the Pokemon games in that aspect. In Red, Yellow, Blue, Gold, Silver, and Crystal, you could get all the pokemon if you traded between the games. Now, you can only get most of the pokemon and the rest you either have to be lucky enough to attend the live events, or be on Wi-Fi when they launch the Wi-Fi event. It's bloody rubbish.
i did it it but is harder on heartgold though. i havnt done the 1st gym on it yet it is well hard and my feraligr keeps on dying all the time
I am having trouble seeing how your Totodile could be fainting all the time. My lvl 15 Quilava took out the 1st Gym leader's strongest pokemon no problem. A lvl 15 Croconaw/Totodile should have NO trouble with the first gym leader, and if you've been raising your party right, you really shouldn't be having any of your pokemon fainting on you.

Really, the only way you'd be having trouble with the first gym is if you tried to rush to the gym without building a party and raising it, and you're just trying to take out everyone in the gym in one run (without going to the poke'mon center to heal said totodile)

Thus, I am calling BS on your claims simply because there is no wa
i think you are right about rushing into the gym before training my pokemon properly because i only train my feraligatr thats why it evolved twice already. i used switch training every time i tried and i know that that dousnt help. you are wrong about doing it in one run though because i have already took out all the trainers so i am going in with full health. i only have four pokemon though so i will catch some more. thanks for the help and for a bit of an argument (it was fun)

Hmm. Your Fearligatr should be able to take out the gym leader's pokemon with one-hit kills. For the record though, raising only one pokemon is a bad thing; balance is always best. A balance party, though it takes longer to train, will [almost] always assure victory.

Teach your pokemon moves that are strong against the pokemon-types they're weak against. ;)
