To those of you who are following stormcaller's Pokemon RP thread, you are aware that it is currently on a hiatus, and will stay so for a couple of weeks. At the end of the last chapter however, we were presented with one of the characters leaving the group, and will again lose another member of the little entourage.

Edit: We are no longer accepting any more sheets. The best three have been chosen, and are now being deliberated on by stormcaller, and myself. If your sheet is not on this, or if you did not submit a sheet before the deadline, then you are not going to be in the RP. No matter what you say.

If yours did get chosen, however, then good job. As soon as we decide, we'll let you know. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and all of you will be let in. Keep those fingers crossed.

Name:Dani Reynolds
Gender: Female
Age: 12
Skills: Egg Raising/ Caretaking/
Appearance/Physical Features: Dani has shoulder length brown hair, her head is rather small for her body and her nose appears large due to the size of her head. She has a couple of freckles on her face and has straight teeth.
Personality: Dani is fairly outgoing, she is always up for a challenge and will rarely back down. She is however quite afraid of the thought that her Pokemon can die, and will often keep an excessive amount of potions in her bag. But offer her an adventure and she will gladly take the opportunity by the horns and lead the way.
Hometown: Verdanturf Town
Starter and how you met it: Norbert(was a Torchic, now Blazekin) was given to her by her elder sister, who is a quite well known trainer. Her Blazekin was in daycare and mated, she had an egg and it was given to Dani on her 9th birthday.
Pokemon in party:
Norbert(Blazekin, Male, 41)
Murphy (Altaria, Male, 38)
Todd (Ludicolo, Female, 34)
Pikachu(Pikachu, Female, 30)
Abby (Absol, Female, 26)
Bio: Dani's sister is a fairly well known up and coming Trainer, she is trying to follow in her footsteps. After she got Norbert, she went to the woods every day and battled wild Pokemon until Norbert was a high level. Dani has never actually caught a Pokemon with a Pokeball, all of her Pokemon she found as babies either unwanted in the daycare or without a mother in the woods.
Inventory: Clothes, Rope, Pokedex, Watch, Berries, some sandwiches.

Name: Zachary Lee
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Skills: Basic street smarts
Appearance/Physical Features: Hazel eyes, messy black hair under a green/orange backwards cap, wears a long-sleeved orange shirt, green vest, tan pants and black sneakers.
Personality: Not the brightest bulb in the box, but always means well in his actions, and is known to be a joker even under pressure.
Hometown: Vermilion City
Starter and how you met it: Sandshrew. Zach saved him from being attacked by a flock of Murkrow.
Pokemon in party: Razer (Sandslash, male), Aria (Pidgeotto, female), Rollo (Donphan, male)
Other Pokemon: None
Bio: Zach's parents spent most of their free time teaching his twin sister, Rebecca, everything about being a Pokemon breeder, neglecting Zach and his training efforts to impress them and gain some respect. He set out on his journey both to broaden his horizons and hopefully put together and raise Pokemon so great that his parents would have no choice but to finally give him his due.
Inventory: Super potion x3, Ether, Poke Balls x5, Great Ball x2.

Name: Alan Marks

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Skills: Quick thinking, usually making a plan before others, and swimming.

Appearance/Physical Features: A bit short for his age, Alan looks slightly stronger than most due to swimming exercises he has done since he was 13. He has shaggy, black hair that sits just over his shoulders and blue eyes. Wears a white shirt and blue jeans.

Personality: A bit of a show-off but an otherwise friendly person. Tries to have authority in groups.

Hometown: Canalave city

Starter and how you met it: Alan met his starter, Staryu, just outside of Canalave city. Alan was swimming one day when he noticed the Staryu trapped in a fisherman's net. He quickly put together a way to free the frightened Pokemon and brought it back home.
Pokemon in party: Staryu (Level 42), Magneton (Level 40) and Golbat (Level 37)

Bio: Alan had always been a bit adventurous, climbing the tallest trees, swimming the widest lakes and chasing the biggest Starly, so when he told his parents that he wanted to become a Pokemon trainer they had expected it. He began his journey almost immediately afterwards, being given a few going away gifts from his family. He got Pokeballs, a bike and even his father's Magnamite. He's been travelling around ever since, simply trying to get better.

Inventory: Super Potion x 4, Acro bike, Great Ball x 3, green hoody

Oh! This intrigues me! Will you be doing this by first entries or best entry? If it is first I will make a sheet now, if it is best I will make on tomorrow. A few questions, how powerful can my Pokemon be, about the same as the other players? Pokemon from all games or just older ones? I am not familiar with all of the new Pokemon.

I'm doing it by best entry(ies)

No Pokemon stronger than Lv.45, and you cannot have all of your Pokemon be above level 40. So yeah, about the same as the other players.

Pokemon from all of the games. However, it would be good to have most of your Pokemon come from where you did most of your adventuring, but you can have a couple of Pokemon from elsewhere. It wouldn't make sense to have a guy who has never left Kanto/Johto to have nothing but Pokemon from Sinnoh.

If you want to look over the newer additions, there is a website that has the best(IMO), collection of everything Pokemon. Check out the D/P/Pt Pokedex, if you need to brush up on your Gen 3 and 4 Pokemon.

Also, your starter does not have to be one of the twelve main starters that you start with in the games, nor does it have to be given to you by a Pokemon Professor. Your first Pokemon can be any base-form Pokemon that you met before or when you started your journey, just don't make it something extremely rare and overpowered.

Oh! I'm so stoked! Does this mean I'm in the RP, or is that the only Character Sheet you've gotten so far?

This only means that I have your sheet. No decisions will be made on who to add to the RP until I get more sheets. There is no guarantee that you will be in the RP, but there's always a chance. Then again, if all the sheets are god-awful, there could be no new entries.

Well at least I know my sheet isn't "god-awful."

Ok, one more question. When you started off, all of the players only had one or two low level Pokemon. Is that what I should have then work up or should I skip that step and just have high level Pokemon?

That's where it's up to you. You can make it so you're a Trainer of any skill from beginning levels, to on par with the rest of the group. That's entirely up to you. I'm particularly looking forward to your sheet Shapsters. Gimme a good one.

:S Hope I don't get your hopes to high. I am constantly referring to my copy of Sapphire due to the fact that that is my staple Pokemon game, but I hope I don't disappoint. I am still working on and off, it'll probably be ready tomorrow.

...You know what? I'm gonna give this a try. I haven't RPed here on The Escapist at all yet, but I think I'll try this.

I think I'll give this a try too, but for now I'm gonna go to bed and PM a sheet to you tomorrow seeing as how it's 1:59 A.M. right now. Hope I don't forget about this by tomorrow morning.

This is all the people that want to join? It's a shame, I thought there'd be more of a line-up for this. If you want to join and create a character, but can't think of a good party for your Pokemon, just ask me and I'll whip one up for you.

If you really need more, I might throw my hat into the ring. I'll have to get caught up plotwise though...

Same here. I'm looking for a little RP excitement, and this might do it for me.

If you plan on joining, try and read as much as you can of the RP thread. If you can read the entire thing, that's great. If not, just try and read the last few chapters.
