First of all I am well aware of the fact that there is already a Pokemon RP on this forum. It's existence is precisely the reason why this is just an interest. If enough people want join it will happen, if not it won't.
What it's all about...
This RP will take place in a new region of my own creation called Oren. The story revolves around a group of trainers being groomed to represent and protect the Oren region. This region has been recently settled so there is still a lot unknown about it and many places that have been untouched. Pokemon from all existing regions have a chance of appearing in Oren (Whether Black and White Pokemon will appear is up to the players) which means Pokemon teams difficult to make in other regions may now be created easily.
This RP will start off a little slow and the players will be a little restricted so the plot can be set in place. However after the players will be given a lot of freedom. My goal in the RP is to work closely with the players and give them choices to avoid a boring linear journey. This means if you are the kind of person who likes to get up to mischief without your companions knowing you can handle it with me.
I know I haven't gone into much depth about the plot but that is necessary as I have worked hard writings a variety of scenarios and I don't want to spoil them. What I can tell you is that the theme going to be much darker than the anime. Death can and will happen to people and Pokemon who puts their lives in danger. Normal battles will still only result in the Pokemon becoming unconscious so don't worry about accepting friendly battles. As I mentioned I like to give players a choice and because of this there will be many choices for the entire team or and individual to deal with. These choices may have no effect on anything or may change a whole segment of the plot. The important thing to remember is that you always have a choice.
I won't go into any game play mechanics just yet. If you are curious to find out about a specific element that may be a deal breaker for you just ask.
A bit about me...
My RP track record on this site hasn't been to great. This is mainly because even knowing I didn't have the time to participate I tried to convince myself otherwise because I love RPing. I have almost limitless time to spend on this for the foreseeable so you need not worry about me randomly bailing. I was an Admin on a Pokemon RP forum for a couple years so this is kin of my specialty I have already written most of the main plot for this so if I somehow can't post one week I will be able to put it in the hands of someone else in the RP.
I look forward to any feedback/interest this thread is given.
