I hope that Litten's final evolution is a Fire/Dark-type, as Houndoom is one of my favorite Fire-types.
I hope it isn't a Fire/Fighting, simply because we have an over-abundance of that starter typing, but I won't disown my Litten if that becomes the case, either.
I'm definitely going for Sun and I'm hoping that Solgaleo's alternate form turns him to a pure Fire type.

These look fucking retarded. I thought pokemon were animals. I just got into this with X, and it still bugs that the starters turned 8nto anthromorphs.

Not a huge fan of Litten's evolved design, in my opinion they've made far too many Fire-type starters overly humanoid for far too long now (Blaziken, Infernape, Emboar and Delphox all have some humanoid elements). At least it's not likely to be another fire fighting-type.
The designs for the evolved Rowlett and Poplio look pretty good though, in my opinion.
As far as Solgaleo's typing goes, many have speculated that its inspiration comes from Alchemy. Specifically the lion that eats the sun and turns metal into gold, or something like that. You can Google the specifics. Also, Dookieshod made a YouTube video about this, that gives a pretty easy to understand explanation for Solgaleo's typing. How mixed are the pokemon generations in these new entries? I've only played a pokemon game through once post gen 3, and I don't remember much from it. I always thought it retarded that the new game's region focused only on the new pokemon, when there's code for every pokemon in the game ever. At this point there's so many pokemon that you could give every area 20 species to catch and still have room for more, instead of forcing people to spend money on past entries and trading from them. There's going to be over 1000 pokemon in the next 2 generations, make me feel it! I want to ask "how many more freaking species are there in this area?????" The tagline is "Gotta catch 'em all!", not "Gotta trade 'em all!"
I guess you made like the new game Sun and Moon since it is the first to reintroduce some of the Gen 1 Pokemon but under the "Aloha" form. It's basically the variest look like how a species of an animal look different when compared from two environments.bartholen said:

At the moment I do not know how mixed the total types are at the moment but it seen there're more Fariy types presented at the moment. I know in Gen 5 (Black and White) there were far less new Water type but in saying so Gen 1 had too many Water types!
Eww, I was really hoping these were fake, but the presence of Mallow months before she was officially revealed basically confirms them.
There's another leak that says each starter will have two final evolutions, which is the secret they share with Rockruff (who also hasn't had it's final evolution officially revealed). I hope that's the case because I'm really not liking litten's final and Poppilo's is a nice idea, but could be better designed. If this is all I'm stuck with, I'm going Rowlett.

So, what if instead of a mega evolution, they have a final form that changes with day/night cycle? That would be cool!
I take this with a grain of salt, but if I had to name them: I'm calling Rowlet's final form Robenhoot (Robe + Robin Hood + Hoot), I'm calling Litten's Sulpurr (Sulphur + Purr, come on look at Litten's face), and Popplio's Sircuselle (Siren + Circus + Belle).
I find it really weird that Litten's final form, is the only one who shows humans and other Pok?mon, especially Mallow who is not a fire specialist, I think that Mallow's concept leaked early and somebody decided to make this one, because I can't see Popplio's form being so feminine while most finak evolution starters so far have androgynous designs (for good reason, 8 to 1 Male-Female ratio)
