Ok, I'll admit I was pretty skeptic at first about the new pokemon game, main reason being that it exists. However I gave into peer pressure and bought it and by god I loved it just like all the ones before. Of the entire game so far, I have only two major complaints.

1. Looking down the list of pokemon I spotted some that were evolutions of pokemon from the older generations. It never officially said that they were (none that I could find), but its just so obvious that they are. But for some god stupid reason, they decided to cancel the whole evolution thing, so these new pokemon are on their own. I see no reason why they couldn't keep them in as evolutions. I assume it's because since you have to use the new pokemon until you beat the Elite 4 they didn't want you breeding for the old ones. But hey! Leafgreen and Firered had the same problem and they had a great solution, don't have two pokemon day care centers until you beat the Elite 4.

Here are some examples:

2. See this pokemon?

Well of course you don't until you click the link because I'm retarded and I don't know how to post pictures properly.
Anyway, it's called an Eelektross. It is an electric eel pokemon that is electric type. I encountered this pokemon and saw that it was electric type, so I had my Stountland (favorite pokemon ever) use dig on it.

It had the ability levitate, meaning it was immune to ground attacks.

Since electric types are only weak against ground, it has no weaknesses.

Between the logic errors and bullshit, it just..........really bothers me.

1: Yeah, that's an issue I have.

2: That's not the first Pokemon without a weakness. Spiritomb and Sableye, being Ghost/Dark, have no weakness either.

But electric attacks don't effect rock types? Just use a rock type and any kind of attack? Problem solved.

That's the entire point of it. In fact, a move exists to counter [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Smack_Down] this. It's not the first [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sableye_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29#Trivia] Pokemon to have no weakness either.

Oh my god that last link looks like those eel things on an episode of Dirty Jobs a few months ago. The name of them escapes me at the moment.
I'm guessing a lamprey [http://paxarcana.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/sea_lamprey.jpg], which is most likely what the Pokemon was based on.

Pokemon V?
Referring to it as the fifth generation, obviously. Not how most people would mention it but it still makes sense.

....You can not be serious. Random pokemon who float for no good reason have been around since Gen 1 buddy just look at Gyarados and Mantine.

As for your first point but really the only one I agree with there is Alomamola, that does look like someone made a Luvdisc evo and then remembered they weren't making evolutions. But Afrobull, no they're allowed to make two pokemon from the same animal dude and they don't really look at all alike, hell Afrobull's real name seems to suggest he's meant to be a Buffalo anyway so it's not even the same animal. And Emolga, I can see the resemblance to Pachurisu I doubt he was intended an an evo, a cute electric single stage rodent has been introduced in every generation (except Gen 2, I guess Pichu is the closet there)
