So a friend of mine recently gave me his Pokémon White copy and I've been playing it quite a bit (I have gotten up to the 5th gym I believe), but I only have 3 pokemon that I am leveling up which are Krokorok, Pignite, and Tranquill. I would like some suggestions for other pokemon I should consider getting and leveling up. Preferably different typings than those I just listed.

Get a Drillbur, it's evolution, Exadrill is boss, it has 9 resistances and 2 immunities. It also has high attack, and if you can get a sandstorm up you get double speed or 1.3x damage on steel rock and ground attacks. I started up a second game with a drillbur 'starter' then went and soloed the game.

Emolga (the flying electric squirrel) is pretty good. Meinfoo (at least I think that's what it's called) is a good one to pick up as well. It's evolution is worth having around. When you can, get Rufflet and evolve it (will probably replace your Tranquill). From what I've heard, Chandlure (the fire/ghost that looks like a chandelier) is a good one to have. Also, I found Haxorus to be good for a bit.

Also, starting today through the Mystery Gift you can get the white dragon through the Nintendo Mystery Gift. Limited time offer, act soon!

This talk has reminded me of this:

Well you're already using Krokorok, so you're using one of the main Pokemon I would suggest.

Someone said Excadrill, who is a very good Pokemon, but you don't really need two Ground types.

Chandelure is a good Pokemon, but you already have a Fire type.
I'd personally suggest Sawsbuck, because with Return and Leech Horn it can do some good STAB damage, plus it learns double kick

This is sort of a gimmick Pokemon that a lot of competitive players like to use, but you could maybe give it a shot.

Catch a Petilil (Modest Nature if you can, or any nature that raises special attack) and make sure it has Own Tempo as its ability. Then teach it Sleep Powder, Quiver Dance, Leech Seed and Petal Dance. It becomes unstoppable.

Archeops is a really powerful flying type if you ever wanna swap out the one you have. His ability makes him risky if he falls below 50% HP, but he's strong so that usually isn't an issue.

I also recommend Galvantula because...well...he's awesome. But most people would recommend Eelektross because he's a pure electric type with Levitate, essentially giving him no weaknesses.

Hope this has helped some.

I know you got the starter fire type but I know for one thing is that Chandelure (Fire/ ghost) has the most powerful special attack of all the new Pokemons. Also from my experience don't bother using scrafty and Reuniclus since they aren't that great (other anyone object since I'm pretty sure I just suck at fully utalizing those two).
Also of the two fossils you get to pick, pick the wing fossil as Archeops is better compare to the turtle (sure he got good defence but it's slow).

on a more serious note, you'll want a water type of some kind for that gym, and an elce type for the one after (which you can get on the way there) other then that, wouldn't hurt to get get psychic or ghost type if you know where one is.

Archeops and Seismitoad were my heavy hitters as well as Darmanitan, but he would be redundant on your team.
