Pokemon X and Y Trailer Reveals Some Version Exclusives

Still not sure if I want to get X or Y first, I'll get the other eventually so I don't think it will matter much. It's a shame the villain team seems to be another team rocket type organization, they have a tough act to follow in team plasma.

I love seeing the new Pokemon as much as the next person, but I feel like they are showing off too many at a time, I want to be surprised a bit when the game comes out.

And if neither has Growlithe or Arcanine?

OT: Already have both versions pre-ordered and fully paid off. Now my Steel-type "Knight" themed team will finally have a decent weapon pokemon in the form of Honedge. It was originally Bisharp as my "Sword" pokemon, but I'll have to try Honedge out and see if he compares.

Also, with the new Fairy-types coming out, I hope to see some of the older Pokemon with their updated types and see how they perform. Gardevoir especially, seeing as how Gallade was a dual Psychic type.

Jigglypuff +evo, Gardevoir and Clefairy + evo have all been upgraded to fairy/normal, or Normal/Fairy...one of the 2...

Agreed. Bidoof isn't even the worst starter rat we've ever had in a game (pretty sure it's still Rattata or Sentret even after all this time). And frankly... I think he's kinda cute. Again, I like the way he and his evolution look better than Rattata and Sentret.

Anyways, that Pancham looks freaking SWEET. I'm 100% certain I'm adding that dude to my team as soon as I can find one. And if I wasn't already sold on getting X instead of Y already, then the fact that X gets Clauncher INSTEAD of Skrelp is all the confirmation I need.

Gen 6 is shaping up quite nicely indeed.

Sorry to burst that rat hating bubble, but Raticate is quite good. We all know the fear strategy with Ratatta. After all, Raticate has access to guts which boosts his attack to scary levels when afflicted with status. Makes up for his average speed with a guts boosted sucker punch. People have fallen to Raticate's guts boosted facade. Raticate will eat your cats and devour your soul.
