I was watching an old Pokemon episode yesterday and had a massive feeling of nostalgia. So my question is this...did you like Pokemon and why or why did you not like it? In my own personal opinion it was great, the episodes were always brilliant if a little predictable

Of course I liked Pokemon. Everyone likes Pokemon (at least if they started watching in the first season). Anyone who said no is lying/did not have a childhood.

The Pokemon cartoons were great, at least for the first one or two seasons. The Red/Blue and Gold/Silver generation of games, on the other hand, are some of my all-time favourites, and they really have this timeless quality about them. When I have the time, I am very much committed to going back and playing through Red and Blue again; they're just so freaking FUN.

I hate how all the seasons seem to go the same way, with Ash ALWAYS winning, it not like Pikachu is even that special of a pokemon, SRSLY. The games are a lot more fun though

Why?

I will admit something that I wondered about, why didn't Brock ever hit on Jesse?

I think it was the short shorts...and the dominate personality. Maybe even the pony tail?
I liked the voice also.
Huh, I always thought she was a bitchy boy-body pain in the ass and that Ashs journey would be so much easier if she wasn't there.

Another thought I've had recently, Why does it seem like Ashs female companions are getting younger every time? o.o

I freaking loved the Pokemon anime as a kid, about as much as I liked the games then and now. Saturday mornings, Pokemon was the priority. And if I had to miss an episode, I made absolutely sure my parents recorded it, and promptly watched it later that day. Ah man, those were the days.

IIRC, that hasn't stopped him before. Brocks criteria seemed to be a set of tits and a decent face, both of which Jesse had.

Maybe he just doesn't like her, maybe he found out that she has a hidden secret? Who knows

I liked Pokemon for a bit, but eventually it got old. I think it was best in Johto.

Personally, I always thought Misty, May, and Dawn were pretty attractive. I felt bad about that since they were supposed to be, like, 10... but, then again, they've got more curves than most RL college girls. Anime girls, go fig.

Because whenever they met, she warned him to prepare for trouble.

I loved the games, but I think I'm done with them. Black and White is pushing it too far. The TV show kinda bugged me though since the weaknesses never really played out that much. Example: How the hell was he supposed to beat Brock with a Pikachu,Pidgeotto, and a Butterfree? Well he did with some sprinklers.

No. I always loved the games over that annoying anime.

Loved the games, loved the show. Misty is probably the least attractive anime girl I've ever liked, but nonetheless I did. From a business standpoint what a great marketing job they did. All the different products parents got suckered into buying. "Gotta catch em all" really did sum it up.

Yeah, I liked it when I was in the second and third grade. Why? Because I was in the second and third grade. Got old by the time I was in fourth grade, though.

Pokemon (the animated series) was always a fascinating show to me as a kid. I had always hoped that technology would get to the point where a pokemon game behaved the way the anime did, with real interactions with these awesome cuddly buddies. Needless to say, that never happened.

But, you know, it was still a great show.

Yeah I was a huge pokemon fan once, had a pile of the trading cards this huge! *Stretches hands apart*

Also, love the games but don't like how it's been evolving recently (pun not intended... or is it?)
