Only raise on a Ace/Face, bet with an Ace, never bet on a pocket pair, ignore the rules if your opponent is sweating.

If you ever get on a check, raise, all in; fold unless you've got trips.

I do this little thing when I want to bluff where I use my cards like a fan. This makes the keen player think that I'm sweating and getting nervous about whats in my hand. This doesn't work well in very cold environments or really hot ones where everyone is sweating but it couldn't hurt to give it a shot.

If your playing with people who don't play oftern try to keep in mind the basic rules of tells:
If a person acts weak, their usually stong.

If they act strong their usually weak.

When a person is all in they sometimes give you the 'speach' this is when they won't shut the fuck up about the hand, that usually means they want you to call.

Watch people as the flop comes down, don't look at the cards right away instead look at the people. If their staring at the board, their weak. If they glance at their chips, they hit a part of it. If they glance at your chips their very stong. If they "TUT" when the cards come I suggest you fold so fast that it creates a cartoon-esq blur.

A person who guards their face is defensive and can be pushed off the hand with the right bets.

Pay attention to the hands your not in, because you don't have any cards you can fully focus on how a person plays and notice patterns. Doing this I have found a friend of mine always bets around a half of the pot on the river when he's bluffing.

There are ofcourse exceptions to these rules but if you just observe a persons behaviour and betting patterns you'll soon not need to worry about what cards you have.

P.S one last thing. If the board is paired on the flop (e.g Jack, Ten, Ten) bet between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pot, people will fold any hand except a Jack or a Ten so you pick up the pot every 4 out of 5.

Hope this helps, PM me if you need anything else
