=-= Really? ROFL And here I thought people were'nt stupid enough to make meth and steal stuff at the same time. and why would you ever want to take Horse tranqs in the first place?
Meth tends to make you do some pretty stupid stuff, so I'm not surprised.

Yeah, well bear tranqs are placebos to me...
Now Elephant tranqs...? Whoo boy, pop a few into me and I'm a party animal...! Pop a fourth though and I see Jesuss eyes...
Really? I'd imagine seeing Jesus performing a facepalm would be a more likely scenario than seeing his eyes.

i could be totally 100% wrong about this but i think..if a cop has any reason to suppose you have drugs, he has the right to search your house, kinda like searching a car for drugs....
I'm fairly certain that - at least in Canada - a warrant is required. They can't just think, "Oh - this person probably has illegal substances." And then kick down the door.

Edit: I found this: "During their investigation, deputies smelled a strong chemical odor coming from inside the house, the report said." So that may change things. I can't quite recall when a warrant is necessary and when it is not (obviously, for example, the sound of gunshots would not necessitate one), but I know that if nothing illegal is being witnessed; no warrant has been granted; and if the police officer(s) was/were not invited into the house, the police are not allowed to enter.

Ah the War on Drugs, still a failure that makes happy chance finds.

If you're fighting an inanimate object and losing, perhaps you should change your weaponary? Or at least do some proper research into it.

Now, as far as I know, that "bust" could be declared illegal as the cops would need a warrant to search for drugs, but IANAL.

Police attempt to search for stolen X-Box...
CRITICAL SUCCESS!
Police find and bust Meth lab.

I'd imagine that its pretty upsetting when someone goes through all the trouble to hide the Meth Lab and make sure nobody finds out and then get busted for stealing an X-box. Let this be a lesson... Meth making is a gateway to X-box theft... and that's just wrong.

Oh sure, now he's a little boy stealing little toys, but someday he will be a grown man stealing stadiums and... and quarries.
